All of our Organic Cotton is made here. China have become experts in producing organic cotton and they are radically reinventing their manufacturing methods to becoming more sustainable. Our relationship with the makers are ever evolving. We are aware of the impacts that shipping our goods to the US have on the environment which is why we are constantly looking at ways we can improve our footprint at the source.

We work with a maker who uses non-synthetic yarns including organic cotton, silk and linen. All dyes used on our sweaters are “environmental protection dyes” which means they re-use up to 60% of waste water from the dying process.

In 2019 we launched our first undyed organic cotton sweater, and for 2020 we’re excited to be exploring the world of natural dyes. Stay tuned.

This is Huang Su Mei, she makes all of our Organic Cotton styles. She works 8am-6pm 5 days a week and has a 2 hour lunch break. She has been working for the company for 5 years.

Our organic cotton is GOTS certified which not only means the process from start to finish must follow strict environmental standards but it must also follow vital social standards.
